§ 01· The headlines

Three rules to know before you book.

Everything below is also covered in the long-form sections that follow. These three are the ones you'll actually need.

A · REFUNDS

No refunds, full stop.

Consulting time is a non-returnable service. Once you've booked and paid, the slot is yours and the consultant's calendar has been blocked. No refunds are issued under any circumstances. If the call doesn't go ahead because of something on our end, we'll reschedule it — see Policy C.

B · RESCHEDULING

Reschedule at least 2 hours before.

You can reschedule a booked call once, free of charge, as long as the request reaches us at least 2 hours before the original start time. After that window closes, the slot is locked. Rescheduled calls cannot be rescheduled again — they have to be honoured or they count as a no-show.

C · NO-SHOWS

No-shows are non-refundable.

If you don't join the call within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time and haven't given us notice, the call is marked as a no-show. No refund, no automatic reschedule. If something genuinely went wrong, email us and we'll review case-by-case — but the default position is that the slot was used.

§ 02· The service

What you're actually buying.

Scope

BridgeWise Tech ("BridgeWise", "we", "us") is a developer-relations consulting practice operating from Mumbai, India. Through this site you can book paid services from individual consultants on our roster.

The services available for purchase include:

  • Discovery calls — typically 30 minutes, video, used to scope a potential engagement.
  • Paid advisory sessions — longer 1:1 consulting calls, scoped per consultant.
  • Engagement retainers and fixed-scope projects — billed per a separate written agreement, not via this site.

What you're paying for is time and expertise on a scheduled call — not a guarantee of any specific business outcome. We deliver what we say we'll deliver in the call's described format. We don't promise that the call will solve your problem in one sitting, that the consultant will agree to take on further work, or that any introductions or follow-ups will materialise.

§ 03· Booking & payment

How a booking actually works.

Process

Bookings are made through the consultant pages on this site or through the booking links shared with you. Each consultant maintains their own calendar and rate sheet. The price displayed at checkout is what you pay — there are no hidden charges, except where statutory taxes apply (GST or equivalent, displayed separately at checkout).

Payments are processed by Razorpay, which handles all card, UPI, net-banking, and wallet transactions on our behalf. We don't store your full card details on our servers. Razorpay's own terms of service and privacy policy apply to the payment portion of any transaction.

A booking is confirmed only when payment has been successfully captured and you've received a confirmation email from us with the calendar invite. If payment fails or is held in pending status by Razorpay, the slot is not reserved — slots are released back to the consultant's calendar after 30 minutes of failed-payment attempts.

Currency & pricing

Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) by default. International payments are accepted via Razorpay's international processing in supported currencies — exchange rates and any cross-border fees applied by your card issuer are outside our control.

§ 04· Refund policy

Why we don't refund.

Detail

Consulting time is a perishable, non-tangible service. When you book a slot, our consultant blocks that time from their calendar — meaning they've turned down other potential bookings, prepped briefing notes for your call, and committed to being available. Once that's happened, the time has been spent regardless of whether you join.

For that reason, BridgeWise Tech does not issue refunds on confirmed bookings. This applies to:

  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the call
  • No-shows (you don't join the call)
  • Calls where you join but the consultant is unable to address the topic you wanted (we recommend a topic check before booking — see Section 02)
  • Change of mind after payment

The narrow exceptions

We will issue a refund (or, at our discretion, a free re-booking) in these specific cases:

  • Consultant-side cancellation: the consultant cancels and cannot reschedule within a reasonable window (typically 14 days).
  • Technical failure on our end: our booking confirmation, calendar invite, or video link doesn't work and we can't get you connected.
  • Duplicate or accidental charges: verified billing errors processed via Razorpay are reversed in full.

Any approved refund is processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay within 5 to 7 business days. Bank-side processing on top of that may add another 2–5 days, depending on your card issuer.

§ 05· Rescheduling

How to move a call.

Window

Each booking includes one free reschedule, provided the request is received at least 2 hours before the original scheduled start time.

To reschedule, click the link in your booking confirmation email or write to hello@bridgewise.tech with your booking reference. The new slot must be picked from the consultant's available calendar — typically within the next 30 days.

Inside the 2-hour window

Reschedule requests received less than 2 hours before the call cannot be honoured. The slot remains scheduled, and if you don't join, it counts as a no-show under Section 06.

Already rescheduled once

A booking can only be rescheduled one time. Once you've used your reschedule, the new slot is final — it must either be honoured or it forfeits as a no-show. If you genuinely cannot make the rescheduled time, you'll need to book a fresh slot at the standard rate.

§ 06· No-shows

If you don't turn up.

Policy

A booking is marked as a no-show when none of the booking parties have joined the call within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, and no rescheduling notice was received before the cut-off.

No-shows are non-refundable and the booking is closed. The consultant has spent the prep time and held the slot — the service is considered delivered for billing purposes.

We'll send a single follow-up email noting the no-show and offering you the option to book a new slot at the standard rate. We don't apply discounts or credits for missed calls.

Connectivity issues

If you joined the call but had a technical problem on your end (bad connection, audio failing, wrong link clicked) and reached out to us via email or chat within the call window so we could troubleshoot, we'll typically offer a goodwill reschedule. We can't do this retroactively after the call is over.

§ 07· Conduct, recording, IP

A few rules that go both ways.

Mutual

Conduct

We expect calls to be professional in tone. We reserve the right to end a call (without refund) and decline future bookings if a participant is abusive, harassing, or behaving in bad faith. Equally, we hold our consultants to the same standard — if a consultant behaves unprofessionally, write to hello@bridgewise.tech and we'll investigate, including refunds where warranted.

Recording

Calls are not recorded by default. If either party wants the call recorded, both parties must verbally agree at the start. Recordings are not shared, posted, or used for marketing without explicit written consent.

Confidentiality

What you share with us in a paid call is treated as confidential. Discovery calls are technically pre-engagement and not under formal NDA, but we still treat them with the same discretion. If you need a signed mutual NDA before the call, request one when booking.

Intellectual property

Generic frameworks, methodologies, and pre-existing templates that the consultant brings to the call remain BridgeWise's IP. Anything specifically created during a paid call about your business — sample plans, scoping notes, written summaries — becomes yours upon delivery, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

§ 08· Liability

The boring but important bit.

Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BridgeWise Tech's total liability for any claim arising from a booking is capped at the amount you actually paid for that booking. We don't accept liability for indirect, consequential, lost-profit, or business-interruption claims arising from advice given on a call.

Advice given by our consultants is professional opinion based on their experience — it's not a guarantee. You're responsible for the decisions you make and how you apply what's discussed. Where we recommend a vendor, framework, or third-party tool, we don't warranty their behaviour.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot legally be limited under Indian consumer-protection law.

§ 09· Changes & jurisdiction

Updates and where this is governed.

Governance

We may update these terms from time to time as the practice grows. The version effective on the date you make a booking is the version that applies to that booking — newer terms don't retroactively change a confirmed booking's policy.

The current version, including the effective date, is shown at the top of this page. Material changes (for example, a meaningful tightening of refund or no-show terms) will be flagged on the booking checkout for at least 14 days before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
